SageWater will remove the siding (for exterior access) or drywall (for interior access) as needed to access the wall cavities. Once the affected areas are accessible, SageWater crews will complete the engineered repair based on the design of your home. This will involve installing new anchors made from stainless steel, as specified by the engineer. Although it is unlikely that concrete will be damaged in the repair process, crews will repair any concrete damage caused by the repairs, as required. Finally, our team will complete cosmetic repairs including siding, drywall, and paint to return the work areas back to their pre-repair conditions, per the settlement protocols.
The Shot Pin Repair Program is at no cost to you. Note: If you have upgraded anything in your home from the original construction, and it is determined that it is obstructing the construction repairs, it will be the homeowner’s responsibility to provide access to the wall cavities requiring repair in the restricted area.
We estimate most of the repairs will be complete in 5-6 days. Duration will vary on your home model and garage configuration.
No, SageWater will coordinate how to gain access to the home if you notify us in advance.
We plan to begin the work at 8 am, and finish each day around 5 pm. Note: Depending on the phase of the repairs, we may be working in/around the home for the entire day or just a few hours.
The SageWater Project Manager supervises the repair process, and all of our in-house crews are background checked, drug tested, e-verified, and trained to treat your possessions with the utmost care.
Yes, prior to the start of construction, SageWater will provide guidance on the affected work zone areas in order for you to move belongings.
If you will not send your pets to a kennel, secure them in your home away from the work area, not in your backyard.
If it is determined that the work must be done from the inside, for your peace of mind, children under the age of 18 may not be left unattended while we are working on the inside of your house.

The Shot Pin Repair Program is designed to enhance the safety and structural integrity of your home, while preserving the cosmetic appearances of the work areas.
Our crews will clean the work areas following the end of each day of construction, and provide a thorough cleaning of the affected areas at the end of the repairs.
Yes, if it is determined we will be working in the garage, please arrange to park on the street or in guest parking.
In the limited instances we need to access the interior of the garage, we will need 3-4 feet cleared all around our work area. The SageWater Project Manager will review this information with you in the pre-construction walk-through.
Siding will be piled and secured alongside the home.
Yes, we will use the AOAO-specified exterior home color. For interior painting, if you provide a paint sample, it will help us better provide a match. Garage interiors will be finished, primed, and paint ready.
